Alysa K. Johnson
Alysa comes to Little Sheep Learning Center with 10 years of experience working in a childcare facility. She has been a Campus Principal/Director since 2006 and also led the HR and Recruiting efforts. In her previous role, she was managing an operation of over 20 teachers and 200 children. Her qualifications and experience are a true asset for our school! Alysa has a BA from the University of Texas in Sociology with a minor in Business Administration. She has a passion for the training and education of teachers, as well as the children, and brings an authentic understanding of the learning and development of the preschool age child. Alysa has 4 children – Fallon, Easton, Audrey and Mikah. All have attended daycare since they were infants, so she knows and understands the emotional connection and communication the parents deserve. Alysa is native to Bastrop and is dedicated to use her experience to better our LSLC environment in her hometown.
Administrative Assistant/Assistant Director
Kyleigh comes to LSLC with over 5 years of experience in childcare. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Psychology in 2020 and is working towards earning her Master’s degree. She loves being around children and making their days at LSLC memorable. She is excited to see the children grow, develop, and learn to love Jesus. LSLC is proud to have Kyleigh as part of our team.
Maria Ellie Gonzales
Dana joins LSLC with 5 years of childcare. She loves working with children because every day is a new adventure. Dana believes being around children is fun and rewarding in so many ways. She enjoys being with her family and hanging around the pool. She looks forward to all that she can teach to the young minds here at Little Sheep. LSLC is very proud to have her on our team.
Candace lives with her husband and 3 children in Smithville. She came to LSLC with 4 years of experience working with infants and toddlers. She cherishes her family and spending time with them. She has completed her Child Development Associates Credential and plans to continue her education in Early Childhood Development. She is dependable, nurturing, and always has a smile on her face. She is an amazing and dedicated teacher and we are grateful to have her at LSLC.
Ciana comes to LSLC with over 15 years of childcare experience. She is the mother of a son who attends LSLC and absolutely loves it. She also has two fur babies that she loves. She enjoys working with children and enjoys watching their progress and growth. Mrs. Ciana is fun, energetic and a valuable member of the LSLC family.
Maria is married with 12 children. She has worked in the child care industry for 11 years now. She loves spending time with her family and friends and loves to cook all kinds of food. Caring for children is her passion. Maria has her CDA and several certificates for infants and toddlers
Jennifer is a Texas native. She has worked in several Pre-School and childcare facilities over her life time and brings in years of experience with several ages. She loves working in the childcare field because it gives her an opportunity to not only impact someones day but their life as a whole. Jennifer has also worked as a personal nanny. In her spare time she loves reading,playing her guitar, gardening and looking after her two cat babies. We are happy to have Jennifer a part of our team.
Cation comes to LSLC with over 15 years of childcare experience. She has lived in Red Rock her entire life and loves living out in the country. She and her husband of almost 20 years live on 100 acres with their dog named Sadie. While she loves nature and long walks, she loves working with children even more. We are happy to have Cation and her out of the box thinking and we look forward to all that the children will learn through her. Mrs. Cation is a wonderful asset to the LSLC team
Lara Clabaugh Leverington
Lara first started working with children when she was 16. It was then that she realized her love and passion for working with young children. As a mother of three she understands what an honor it is to entrust your little ones to someone else. She strives to give every child she encounters respect, love and compassion. Lara has also worked with abused and mentally ill girls ages 10-18. Counseling the girls was a very rewarding and educational experience for her and she believes it has made her a better mother, person and care giver. We are thrilled to have Lara apart of our team.
Donna brings over 6 years of childcare experience with her to LSLC. She has facilitated an in home childcare facility. She has two children of her own and reminisces on the times when they were small. Donna loves working with infants and desires to love on them as if they were her own.
Miss Deserae is new to the childcare profession, but has quickly fallen in love with it. She says working with babies is so rewarding and making a baby smile makes her day. She lives in the country with her cat named Isaac and enjoys drawing, reading, and collecting bugs. She’s enjoying all the fundamentals about children and strives to be the best infant teacher she can be. LSLC is blessed to have her on our team.
