Admission at Good Shepherd Lutheran School includes the following:

  1. Touring & Program Overview: We encourage families to visit Good Shepherd for a personalized program tour.  You may click this link or call (512) 988-1778 if you have any questions and/or to schedule a visit.
  2. Academic Assessment:  We offer the required in-house assessment during a planned 30-min appointment.  The results of the in-house assessment are considered during the application review.
  3. Application Processing: Once parents have submitted the online application and any requested documents have been received, our principal will review the application.  We will let you know when the application has been approved or if additional information is needed.
  4. Admissions Acceptance Status: Once the application is accepted, parents pay the new student and enrollment fees in order to secure their opportunity to enroll.  Enrollment in the current school year will be offered as space is available.  Enrollment for the following school year will be offered during the open enrollment window – that schedule can be discussed with the Admissions Director or office staff.  The deposit must be paid during open enrollment season to secure your child’s spot for the next academic school year.
