Applications are accepted for new students throughout the school year. Placement is made available after review of educational records, completed assessment with school, and enrollment availability. Good Shepherd Lutheran School admits students of any sex, race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.

Open enrollment for the 2023-24 school year begins February 1, 2023.

Please review the four-step process for enrollment. Simply schedule a tour of our facility, then fill out the enrollment application. You can contact us directly, or online. We look forward to meeting you and your child.

We encourage families to visit Good Shepherd for a personalized program tour. You may click this link or call (512) 988-1778 if you have any questions and/or to schedule a visit.

Academic Assessment
We offer the required in-house assessment during a planned 30-min appointment. The results of the in-house assessment are considered during the application review.
03.
Admission Application
Once parents have submitted the online application and any requested documents have been received, our principal will review the application. We will let you know when the application has been approved or if additional information is needed.

Admission Acceptance Status
Once the application is accepted, parents pay the new student and enrollment fees in order to secure their opportunity to enroll. Enrollment in the current school year will be offered as space is available. Enrollment for the following school year will be offered during the open enrollment window – that schedule can be discussed with the Admissions Director or office staff. The deposit must be paid during open enrollment season to secure your child’s spot for the next academic school year.

- Enrollment Fee due when submitting application for consideration
- Tuition deposit due upon acceptance to guarantee placement in the school
- Annual tuition deposit to guarantee placement for returning students, due every Feb 1st
- Chef –prepared meal plan includes breakfast if here by 7:30am, lunch, and 2:30pm snack. If you do not take part in the meal plan, you will need to provide your child’s meal daily. We are peanut free facility. If you do not provide food, and are not enrolled in our meal plan, we will gladly serve your child food, for a $2.50 charge to your account.
- Being enrolled in our school, means always having care for your child on staff development days, holidays where LSLC is open, and during Thanksgiving break, winter break, and Spring Break. Summer Camp care is a separate program and will require separate enrollment, and fees.
