New Transition/Middle School for Grades 5 – 8

Dear Good Shepherd Families,

We are excited to share an important step forward for our school community. With the blessing and support of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Good Shepherd Lutheran School will open a satellite campus beginning in the 2026-2027 school year, launching our Transition/Middle School for grades 5-8. This expansion is designed to be a strong bridge from elementary to high school, offering increased structure, higher academic expectations, and the care and community that define Good Shepherd.

Our goal is simple: students will be known, challenged, and supported every day.

Students in grades 5-8 will benefit from:

  • A block-style schedule that mirrors middle/high school
  • Strong academics with support for growth and accountability
  • Fine arts electives, specials, and enrichment opportunities (Band, Adv Math & Science, CTE)
  • Increased use of technology and computer-based learning tools
  • A learning environment focused on confidence, responsibility, and readiness

Families can also expect a safe, structured campus where students are well-supervised and cared for. We are pleased to share that our satellite campus will be staffed by educators who understand and value Good Shepherd’s mission, including familiar faces from our current campus. To ensure we launch this program with excellence, including staffing and programming, we ask families to be prepared to confirm enrollment intentions as we finalize planning.

We invite you to learn more at our upcoming Open House in early February, where we will share additional details regarding scheduling, electives, and campus logistics. Thank you for your continued trust and partnership. We are grateful for what God is doing through our school, and we look forward to this exciting next chapter.

With gratitude and joy,
Good Shepherd Lutheran School

Children’s Chapel

Children’s Chapel

Chapel days are Wednesdays. The children learn bible songs, bible stories as well as learn to pray and give thanks to God in the Good Shepherd Sanctuary. We are very thankful for the Good Shepard Lutheran Church Ministry team for dedicating her time and resources to minister and love on the children.
